Q: What do I need before I can import my dream vehicle?

A: A valid driver’s license and documentary evidence of your BIR number eg TD4, Tax return cheque or you can request a letter of your BIR # at the Board of Inland Revenue, Tax division.

Q: How long does it take for me to get my vehicle?

A: Usually it takes 8-9 weeks maximum.

Q: How can I be assured of the quality of the vehicle?

A: All vehicles come directly from the auction and this ensures that we get vehicles that have not been tampered with in any way. It also ensures that we have the full history of the vehicles and that they were never involved in any accidents. Also, all the vehicles are inspected by our team before bidding in the auction and pictures will be provided for approval before bidding.

Q: Where do the vehicles come from?

A: Most of our vehicles come from Japan but we also import luxury vehicles from the UK and Germany.

Q: Can I import a diesel vehicle or commercial panel van?

A: Only persons who have a registered company can import diesel vehicles. We can assist you with the registration of your company.

Q: Can you get a specific vehicle for me although I didn’t see it on your website?

A: MIVA Import Export Consultancy Ltd., can source any make and model that you desire, “we get what you want.”

Q: How are payments made?

A: A 50% payment is required before we bid on the vehicle, this will be used to purchase the vehicle. The final 50% is required 2 weeks before the arrival of the vehicle, this will be used to pay all taxes at customs and licensing office.

Q: How can I be sure that my money will be safe and I get what I paid for?

A: MIVA Import Export Consultancy Ltd. is a legally registered entity. Before we import vehicles for clients contracts are signed to protect both parties. We never compromise on quality as most of our clients come from referrals by satisfied customers.

Q: Do I get a warranty with my vehicle?

A: Yes. A comprehensive bumper to bumper warranty is offered which will be provided to clients before they purchase their dream vehicle.

Q: What type of mechanical service is done to the vehicle before I receive it?

A: We understand that a vehicle purchase is the second largest investment in one’s life and we believe safety should be paramount. Some of the things we service and change are: engine service and oil change, oil filter, plugs, air filter, complete transmission flush and service, braking system, differentials, cooling system, electrical system, steering system, suspension system and air conditioning system to name a few.
